MT4 is available as a mobile app for both Android and iOS devices. This guide explains how to install the MT4 Android app and log in to your OANDA trading account.
How to install the MT4 Android app
On your Android device, open the “Google Play Store” and search for “mt4”.
Tap “Install” to download and install the app.
How to log in to the MT4 Android app
Once installation is complete, open the app. When the “New Account” screen appears, select “LOGIN TO AN EXISTING ACCOUNT”
On the “Find broker” screen, enter “OANDA” in the search field.
From the list of available servers, select the one that corresponds to your account type. Common examples include:
- Demo accounts: OANDA-Demo-1
- Live accounts (v20): OANDA-v20 Live-1 (Note: Please check your account registration email to confirm your specific server number, as this may vary).
Enter your Account Number (Login ID) and Password in their respective fields.
Ensure the 'Save password' box is checked if you wish to remain logged in.
Tap 'Sign In' at the bottom of the screen.
