This guide explains how to change the chart display to candlestick view in MT4.
MT4 displays bar charts by default; however, switching to a candlestick chart is easy.
How to switch to candlestick view
To switch to the candlestick view, click the candlestick icon on the toolbar at the top of the screen.
This will change the chart display to candlesticks.
Please note that the default chart setting is zoomed out.
This means that although you’ve switched the display, the candlesticks may not be clearly visible.
Adjust the setting by clicking the “Zoom in” icon at the top of the chart several times until the candlestick shapes become clear.
