How to place a one-click trade in MT4
Here is a step-by-step guide to using the one-click trading function.
MT4 comes with a standard one-click trading feature, allowing you to place trades quickly and efficiently.
Before using one-click trading, you need to enable the feature.
To do so, from the top menu bar, select ”Tools > Options > Trade”, then tick the checkbox for ”One Click Trading”.
Next, right-click on the chart and select ”One Click Trading” to display the trading panel in the upper-left corner of the chart.
Then click on the trade size field displayed in the centre of the panel and click on “Sell” or “Buy” to place the order.
To change the trade volume, adjust the number shown in the centre of the panel.
The trade volume is specified in lots:
- When trading FX CFDs, 1 lot = 100,000 currency units.
- For all other CFD trades, 1 lot = one contract unit.
To close a position, view your open positions in the ”Terminal” window.
Click the “×” button on the right to close the desired position.
